ひとりで京都のコストコに行ってきました。買い物だけのつもりだったけど、なんだかまるで海外旅行に来たような気分。京都の中で、こんなに”グローバル”な体験ができるとは思わへんかった。
The Atmosphere
Costco Kyoto feels like a mix between Japan and somewhere abroad. You walk in, and there’s a rush of familiar things—giant packs of snacks, mountains of tech products, anime toys, and of course, Japanese food everywhere.
日本らしさと海外っぽさがミックスされた、不思議な空間でした。
Items That Caught My Eye
Here’s what stood out to me during my walk through the store:

On the Way Home…
On the way home, a ladybug flew off my hand. I passed blooming cherry blossoms and felt the calm return. That moment reminded me—yes, this is still Kyoto.
帰り道、手からてんとう虫が飛んでいって、満開の桜が咲いていた。グローバル感のあとに、ローカルの美しさ。これもまた、やなしょうの旅。
